Mu’awiya was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014 and has since then been involved in active Legal Practice with a bias for Islamic Banking and Finance, Islamic Family Law, company law, commercial litigation/arbitration, property and constitutional/electoral law practice.
At various times Mu’awiya has had cause to carry out research and litigation in various areas of the law including Corporate and Business Law; Land law, Banking law, Tele-communications, Labour Law and Taxation. He has attended many specialized courses, seminars and workshops including those on Electoral Dispute Resolution organised by the Nigerian Bar Association, Mediation and Advocacy Training – Kaduna State Multi-Door Courthouse, External Solicitor and Asset Management Partners Seminar on Debt Recovery organised by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) etc.
