Eyewuene Murphy-Akpieyi

Eyewu is a key associate in the firm’s Energy and Commercial Transactions Practice group.

Her practice currently covers Corporate and Regulatory Compliance Advisory, Oil and Gas and Corporate Governance.

She advises clients on Nigerian law and policy affecting the operation of businesses, the establishment of foreign businesses, foreign investments in Nigeria, company/business laws and regulations. She has also been involved in advising clients with regards to the acquisition of interests in marginal fields in Nigeria. She equally has extensive experience in providing corporate governance and compliance advice to clients in connection with local and international transactions.

Eyewu obtained her law degree from the University of Lagos and she is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK branch).

Prior to joining the firm, Eyewu worked with law firms specialized in Intellectual Property and general Corporate Advisory.
