Zainab is a Deputy Managing Partner at PAL. She is a legal practitioner with over eleven (11) years’ experience and an in-depth understanding of the Nigerian legal services market. She represents the firm’s private and institutional clients across various business sectors before the executive, legislative and judicial arms of the Nigerian Government and has also advised Government entities on their policies and regulations.
Prior to joining PAL, Zainab served as Policy and Strategic Planning Adviser to the 28th President of the Nigerian Bar Association, where she was appointed Project Administrator and a member of various Project Steering, Appraisal and Implementation Committees with the MacArthur Foundation, United Nations Development Programme, the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDG’s and the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria. In 2016, Zainab was appointed as a member of a Committee of Experts to propose draft Petroleum Sector Bills in the areas of Governance, Fiscal and Regulatory Frameworks by the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and in 2018, she facilitated a strategic planning retreat for the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission.
